The Ford blue oval logo is one of the world's most recognisable trade marks owned by Ford Motor Company. Ford Motor Company has developed a substantial reputation and good will in the Ford blue oval and its other trade marks in Australia and around the world. My husband and I are a very big fan of Fords.
Autism
Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
This is a personal reason for me to choose this
logo my son was diagnosed with Autism 3 years ago we had to travel to the
Sydney building were both Kaeleb, Neville and I went through a whole day of
intense questions and role plays to determine Kaeleb’s diagnosis. To date Kaeleb
is a brand new child now we know how to deal with Kaeleb’s day to day
functioning.
Autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) are lifelong
developmental disabilities characterised by marked difficulties in social
interaction, impaired communication, restricted and repetitive interests and
behaviours and sensory sensitivities.
The word ‘spectrum’ is used because the range
and severity of the difficulties people with an ASD experience can vary widely.
ASDs include autistic disorder, Asperger’s disorder and pervasive developmental
disorder – not otherwise specified, which is also known as atypical autism.
Sometimes the word “autism” is used to refer to all ASDs.
Research shows that about 1 in 110
children have an ASD and that it is more prevalent in boys than girls.
The effects of an ASD can often be minimised by early diagnosis and with the
right interventions, many children and adults with an ASD show marked improvements.

research (Minimum 150 words)
~QUOTE~
“If
you want to get across an idea, wrap it up in a person:.
-
Ralph Bunche
My ideal thought is if you think you have an
amazing idea tell a person, convince them from the start either by actions or
words express your idea and watch it become either a flop or rise to its
highest and become your dream, either way your idea is going to be an active
idea rising to your expectations or become a berried idea that nobody takes too
and become like all the other failure ideas. But I’m hoping it’s one that rises
to the sky!! Spread the word and the more people who know about your idea and
could give you constructive criticism feedback this will greater the chances of
your idea becoming reality. If first your idea doesn’t succeed try and try
again someone is bound to like an idea you have!!
3)
T-Shirt design research
a) This
people went out hunting with a bow and arrow and one came back full of arrows
this person is having a bad day or just very unlucky.
Bad Day
b) “The
Dog ate my homework” a typical quote use by a child in regards to his/her
school work!! Creative picture as proof.
Proof
c) Sometime
“death “sneaks up on people and they die unexpectedly!
Guess Who
d) Water
coloured balloons with a little person taken you to the sky, follow your dreams
whether they are big or small.
To the sky
e) Millions
of sky rise buildings followed by smaller buildings could be interpreted as
tall and small trees in a jungle, people could also be interpreted as animals
in a jungle.
Concrete Jungle
4)
Visual inspiration
1.
Ideas take time but when you’re at the
top its worth it!
2.
Wrap your idea up in the shape of a
donkey to either show its going to make an ass out of you or look and sound
good.
3.
Write an idea its either going to float
or sink!!
4.
An innocent person gone to the brink of
no return has blown their head off and the red blood has turned into
butterflies, which my interpretation would be now she is free to fly.
5.
A trapped person looking out into the
world seeing all the beautiful natural things happening a beautiful picture.
6.
This practically reminds me of a “Once
upon a time scene” It has a lot of different of things going on in the picture
kind of a scary time for the kids involved.
7.
There are so many levels of darkness
with being a princess at the bottom followed by a troll then a bunch of men all
in the silhouette of a castle window shows to me all the things that can happen
in a castle.
8.
This shirt is showing everyone can be
an angel sometime in their life!
9.
A family watching a loved one float too
heaven.
10.
Cats operating a photocopier creates
the original copycat!!
5)
Idea Generation
Please refer to
sketch 1
A rose with branches of buds at the end
with falling petals relates to the rose being the idea, the branches with buds
at the end are ideas that progressed and the falling petals are ideas that
never made it….dying off.
Please refer to
sketch 2
I interpretation was at the end of an
idea was a idea and you had someone to understand what your idea was trying to
achieve.
Please refer to
sketch 3
One main idea with branches coming off
it creates creating a lot of little ideas some work and some don’t leading to
buds. – Too Oriental.
Please refer to
sketch 4
Flames bursting out trying to find
someone to attach to its idea and the rose is the idea.
Please refer to
sketch 5
I started a different
approach and a different IDEA QUOTE!
These two were just
wrapping up an idea and the other is wrapping up an idea in a person/mannequin.
Please refer to
sketch 6
I started playing with the idea of a
hot air balloon being the idea rising to the sky and the brain being the idea.
Please refer to
sketch 7
This is my finial
picture!

Feedback
Liam – Liam had a lot of inspirational
feedback by saying it was too oriental, what certain things meant in relation
to how I interpreted it. He also added my using patterns to highlight, or
darker lines and colouring.
Aaron – Your could try adding – arms,
question marks, or a light bulb incorporating “Idea. These were quiet handy and
I ended up using the arms and legs idea.
Lisa – I love the little brain with
arms and legs from the balloon I get the message of ideas rising and the bow
wrapping around keeping them together or maybe so we can hold onto the ideas,
as the little brain is.
-unsure about the flags
-maybe those little asterisks around the brain to incorporate ideas.
Neville – I get the brain is an idea
and the holding on to the ribbon of a floating hot air balloon and its wrapped
up in this floating idea.
7)
Response
My
conclusion is I have changed my idea once and in the end I actually read what I
was trying to get through to you. In the end I just took some of the words out
and tried to relate them into a picture. The way I changed it was By adding
human feet and arms. I ended up adding colour and patterns to emphasize certain
points of my work.
Hope
you like the out come!
