Art Deco and Art Nouveau

ART DECO





Art Deco, is an eclectic artistic and design style, that begun in Paris in the 1920's and flourished internationally throughout the 1930's and into World War II. The style influenced all area's of design, including architecture and interior design, industrial design, fashion and jewelry.

ART NOUVEAU






Art Nouveau is a style of art that appeared in Europe during the late 19th century, through it's influence is glodal and continuous. The artistic style, which takes it's name from French, literally means "new art". Many of its themes are taken from nature, through presented quite abstractly, and includes plants, flowers and naturally curved lines.
